Rain and Umbrellas

We are going on the Sky - Barcelona to Sweden in April/May. Anyone who has been to Northern Europe in April most likely has experienced rain. While I can always hope that climate change has hit Europe in some fashion I am wondering for those who have already taken a Viking ocean cruise where you did have inclement weather - did Viking provide umbrellas for passenger use during excursions?

I packed my small compact umbrella for those iffy days.....or those days when DH and I weren't wanting to take those large umbrellas. They are big and they are great, but I found that a small back up umbrella came in handy. We usually travel in May and we usually experience some rain......but the trade off for some rain is big crowds and humidity - and so we choose cooler, and sometimes rainy days. ;)
