Anytime on a cruise ship............and especially the sunrise with a cup of coffee and sunset with a glass of bubbly.

 

Someone else to cook, make the bed and do the laundry......is heaven

DH's favorite thing is coffee on the balcony first morning at sea. Mine is collecting my ship model.

Definitely, walking the promenade.

We last sailed on the Royal, and although we liked the ship, we missed the promenade. I felt claustrophobic.

The Veal dish in Alfredo's on Regal is to die for. It is the cheesiest, creamiest thing I have ever put in my mouth. (So rich I can only eat half.) Also love the fettuccine in the MDR & have an appetizer size serving nearly every night. Beyond that my favorite thing is sitting on my balcony with a glass of wine reading a good book in the quiet & the shade. Naps in the afternoon (which I never get at home) are also a big indulgence. Least favorite thing is packing to leave the ship - ugh!!

When you walk across the gangplank, put your cruise card in the machine and hear "DOINK" for the first time. You know you have 7 days of adventure and bliss ahead!

Don't know if it was Oasis in June or Royal Princess last fall, but there was no doink!!!The wonderful sound was gone.

My favorite thing is being able to get comfortable in bed and read. No telephone, no texts, no nothing. Then get up and the morning and breakfast on the balcony. Priceless!
