Rare Scrapnana Posted March 10, 2017 #26 Share Posted March 10, 2017 I saw the video on Inside Edition yesterday. Today they played a tape showing how close Equinox normally comes to this house and the tape from last week. I could see why the homeowner was kind of freaked out because it was closer than usual. (However, I agree that it did not look dangerously close.)
easyboy Posted March 10, 2017 #27 Share Posted March 10, 2017 I can understand the owner's reaction if they were watching as the ship was moving towards them.
RuthC Posted March 10, 2017 #28 Share Posted March 10, 2017 If I thought a cruise ship was heading toward my house, and could possibly hit it, I would not remain standing in the way. I would be making a beeline out of there as fast as my little legs could carry me.

jtl513 Posted March 10, 2017 #30 Share Posted March 10, 2017 It wasn't that close, and what in the world did the homeowner think he was going to do by waving at the ship? Idiotic.... and then assume the Superman pose as if he's going to stop it!
Rare POA1 Posted March 10, 2017 #31 Share Posted March 10, 2017 Heck, if I realized that all you had to do to be a famous TV personality wad to stand by the water's edge and act panicked... According to the local paper, the people lived there several years, which is longer than I expected.
