geosand Posted March 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Getting close to booking an October cruise but limited cabin choices available. Looking at deck 3 and wondering what else is on this deck, specifically the long side across from the cabins on this deck. Is noise a concern? Thanks

Looking at deck 3 and wondering what else is on this deck, specifically the long side across from the cabins on this deck. Is noise a concern? Thanks I've stayed in 310 ........... no problem. A plus is your on the same deck that the tenders will load and unload so no lines ;)
Cruisedreamer1 Posted March 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2017 Any place on the PG is wonderful! The only exclusion I make is for 426 since it has a pool drain that runs 4:30 am and 4 pm
FlightMedic555 Posted March 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2017 We have been on deck 3 and there is no issue with noise. Great value for the price.
sita Posted March 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 14, 2017 To answer your question, along the long other side of the ship are some staff quarters; primarily for officers and supervisory positions. Majority of the staff quarters on the the deck below. We love being on this deck and book it when available. We rarely saw any crew (suspect they get back to their quarters long after we're asleep and rise before the sun) and hardly any guests either given only 14 cabins. Happy planning! geosand Posted March 20, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted March 20, 2017 Thanks everyone for your help. We are booked on deck 3 for October 28 with three days in Moores first!
shorton Posted March 22, 2017 #7 Share Posted March 22, 2017 Good choice, Geosand. We are big fans of Deck 3, and love the fare savings. The ship is so small it's easy to be out on deck. On our last voyage, in December 2015, we regretted that PG upgraded us to a Deck 6 balcony. Lots of noise from the showroom in the evenings. Jim Avery Posted March 22, 2017 #8 Share Posted March 22, 2017 Just like Tiki and the others, we had no problems on 3 deck and loved the closeness for tendering. No noise issues at all.
