Extension cables

Hi everyone first time on Indy end of September . I have been informed that extension cables are banned is this correct?? I went onto rc page and it wasn't stated on there in the FAQ section .. ... also my fit bit requires a USB cable to charge so I have one of these

Just a quick search shows that this may be surge protected, which are not allowed.

My hubby needs his cpap to sleep, and in 5 cruises, every single damn time, we have to order up a cord from maintenance, because there is no outlet close enough to the bed. At this point, I'd purchase any single cord offered as approved for cruises! Good luck!

Actually, that's the point.

 

Let them supply the extension cord that meets their requirements.

The newer ships (Oasis and Quantum classes) now have outlets near the bed.

You can bring an extension cord....just not a "surge protected" one. Just bring a regular cord...or get one from the ship...they have them.

I order fro my wife both an extension cord & distilled water. Call pre-cruise planning dept at 800 398-9819. Items will be in your cabin upon arrival. I also, asked them to note of our needs in our files for future booked cruises.

On Quantum class outlets are near the beds, therefore, no need for extension, but you may want distilled water.
