kathy59 Posted March 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2017 Hello! Has anyone done the RC hop on hop off trolley tour in Boston? Also, what is on the continental breakfast menu that is included with the free room service? We use to be able to get scrambled eggs, pastries, coffee, etc.

bearchele2 Posted March 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2017 We have done the hop on trolley in Boston on a trip we took a few years ago. Its great to get a good overview of Boston and you can get off at the various stops to see the sights. I would recommend looking at their website to see the stops. you may also want to look into a Go City card which is one price and gets you into many attractions. 138east Posted March 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2017 Are you considering doing a ship's excursion or doing it independently? For a ship's excursion, be sure to read the fine print. Sometimes these excursions are on Hoho trolleys, but they don't actually make any stops where you can get off, so basically it is a bus tour of Boston. Please ask this question on the East Coast Departures board where you will get a wider Boston audience.
JAMESCC Posted March 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2017 When we were in Boston, not on a cruise but ok a visit we did the duck boat tours of Boston and it was fantastic. Had a lot of fun. That is the the one that goes on land and water. Sent from my Pixel using Forums mobile app

Also, what is on the continental breakfast menu that is included with the free room service? We use to be able to get scrambled eggs, pastries, coffee, etc. Check the trolleytours.com website. You can purchase the tickets online and you meet the trolley about a block from the pier. You can also see the map with the stops they make. We love Boston

Janet524 Posted March 21, 2017 #10 Share Posted March 21, 2017 Old Town Trolley Tour of Boston is currently having a sale on their tickets. They have to be purchased by 3/31, but can be used through 9/30. The price was about $10 pp less than the RC excursion for our 6/29 Grandeur cruise.
