Friends and family sail free

Ok guys that have been booking cruises on NCL a while got a question. We just got off our first cruise on the dawn loved it and now I'm looking at maybe booking in 2018 and notice that none of the sailings have the friends and family sail free promotion can I expect this to be added promotions later? I guess what I mean is as it gets closer to those dates does that promo usually get added?

I have yet to see KSF posted for next year, I would expect to see those added late summer/early fall.

Your guess is as good as anyone else's. For all we know promotions could go away completely (not likely, but not impossible).

It's always on selected sailings on selected ships. It never appears everywhere. Even when it gets added, it might not necessarily be on the cruise you want. Just something to keep in mind.

It seems to be never offered on sailings during "prime time" - spring break, summer for Alaska sailings, not sure about Caribbean or Europe because I haven't been watching those. ;) Several people have commented that that promo isn't on any of the 2018 sailings yet. But if you can manage an "off" time, you might see them. We are taking our 2 adult kids with us to Alaska in May for free except service charges, one is taking vacation from work and the other is a college student but her finals are over in early May, before the promo went away.

NCL does discount the third and fourth guest anyway. I decided not to wait for a sail free promotion when I discovered that it was only going to cost me about $600 (excluding port fees) for each of my extra guests. Which is a great deal since I'm paying more than 10x that for myself and my husband. Of course, with the number of people we're bringing, we need a suite and it's a long cruise.
