Current benefits of renting an Alcove on the Silhouette

Does anyone have any current experience stayingin an alcove on the Silhouette since they increased the Sea Day price to $249? Does it include the enhanced benefits as offered on the Solstice?

Port Days - US$99 per alcove

SeaDays - US$249 per alcove

Freshfruits skewers / fruit popsicles

Allday Room service menu available

Choiceof : Veuve Rose, Grey Goose, or bottle of white wine

Bucketof 6 assorted beers

So has Celebrity overpriced the Alcoves on Sea Days, or just no one from Cruise critic reserving them?

I have one reserved for Silhouette for our April 16 cruise. I'm interested in this answer too.

We have one reserved for the first sea day on the Reflection, reserved it before the price increase. I'll report back after our cruise on 4/15 [emoji41]

We just got off of Reflection and had an alcove on a sea day and 2 port days. All of the benefits that you listed were available to us on sea days. On port days, we just had water delivered.

Did you reserve your sea day alcove before or after the price increase? Trying to debate if it is worth paying an additional $100.

 

Did you feel you got value for the port days? We have stayed onboard during port days and felt like we had the ship to ourselves. Not sure if we would need the alcove. Pool loungers should be very abundant.

All we were offered yesterday was a fruit plate, a cheese plate, bottled water , and bar service a la carte. Spotty service.

On port days, you should receive the fruit plate, cheese plate, water bottles, and bar service.

 

On sea days, you should receive the above plus a bottle of "Premium champagne", 1L of vodka, or bucket of beers.

 

Kind of pointless, since we had beverage packages.

 

We enjoyed them for the week we were on board in December, but I had booked before the price increase. In Feb, I booked for the "port day" we pulled into San Juan, since it is really a sea day as far as I'm concerned. We spent a bunch of OBC for one more sea day on the way home, which we won't do again.
