Using 1 code for wifi on 2 devices - not at the same time

Hi!

 

I purchased the internet package online. I know that I get one code to use. Could I use it on 2 devices, just not at the same time? I can see that at some times I'd want to use it on my iPhone, and sometimes on my ipad, but not at the same time.

Yes. You just need the access the code. Logging in to one will boot you off the other.

My daughter and I have shared the code for one device, on both of our tablets, but only one at a time. No problems.

We had two phones and two iPads and did this with no issues on Freedom in December. For us, we didn't use it enough to justify more than a one device package.

Yep, my wife and I alternate going on line for a few minutes. Very easy to do and it works great! Enjoy your cruise!

My husband and I plan on doing this, but does anyone know if one is easily logged back in once you put a password in the first time, or are we going to have to carry around a post it note with a password on it to switch back and forth on the fly lol

On Navigator I constantly had to reenter the access code, on Harmony my phone would connect automatically. I'd say if you're sharing you may want to carry it or keep a snapshot of it on your device.

I used the Note app on the device to store the access code. That way I could cut and paste it into the login screen.

Or just make a real easy password and user name, that's how we do it. They are not very fussy about it.

When we have pre-ordered, we don't get to choose a login name and password. We get a gibberish access code.

I didn't realize this. We only used one device the whole cruise. Which is good for us - if I don't have my phone, I'm not trying to look at it!

Your device should give you the option to store the access code the first time you put it in. That's what it did with my iPad back in November
