The Quest?

I was just wondering when Carnival started doing this? We did it on our 12 day Vista cruise last summer but not before we had done it that May with Royal.

 

It certainly didn't happen on our 2013 and 2014 Carnival cruises so when did Carnival nick the idea or did Royal nick it?Is it just on the ships with a movable theatre?

 

I actually think its a smart move as its hilarious and was pretty much identical on both lines...it can be a bit choice though.

it is up the CD to have the quest and if they have time and a venue for it

They did it when I was on the Liberty in September 2014. The CD was Corey Rogers.

Oooo so its been on Carnival longer than I first thought.

Carnival has been doing this for several years. It must be dependent upon the ship or the CD, though, because we haven't seen it every cruise.

Definitely did it on Royal Caribbean in the early 1990s. It has been around forever.

I remember having the Quest on the Miracle in 2012.

It was held in the Punchline Comedy club, on a night when we had no comedians.

I figured Royal had had it years as the kept going on and on about it.

 

I wonder when Carnival decided to yoink it. :)
