Sea Pass and the Casino - Fees

Recommended Posts

Question: If I have a credit card tied to my Sea Pass and I get cash in the casino, I believe I read where the casino charges a 5% cash advance fee, but does it bill your credit card as a cash advance or just another credit transaction from Royal Caribbean?

The 5% is added to your onboard account, which is charged to your credit card once at the end of the cruise.

If you plan on spending your extra money in the Casino, you know the old saying. You put your cash down and they pick it up.. I have done alright on the first couple days at sea, then the odds change to there favor...

I agree brought my gambling money with me last week, only difference was I did bad in beginning and good last 2 days. was surprised at all the people at poker table that kept doing the cash advance , 10 percent cut is bad enough , add the 5 percent and it is hard to win

Confused? If I am playing slot machines and use my sea pass in the machine for money I am going to get charged 5%.

You cannot use your SeaPass card in the machines to play. You can only use cash or cash out tickets. They do have machines that will take your SeaPass card, but this is only for accumulating player points.
