Use credit card in the casino?

Is there a way to use your credit card, not seapass card, in the casino? I know if you take cash out against the seapass there is a 5% charge. So how to get chips in the casino on a credit card?

You can only get chips by using cash or your SeaPass card.

 

Note that if your onboard account is a "cash" type account, then the 5% fee is waived.

Not sure why you'd want to, but you might be able to use your credit card at the ATM in the casino to get cash. A better way would be to draw on your sea pass then take your credit card to GS and pay your balance.

NEVER charge gambling expenses! NEVER! Bring the cash you're willing to lose. When it's gone, it's gone. There is no good reason to "charge" gambling...you lose before you even start!

Thanks for your useless info CB. I think we know when to quit gambling.The $6 dollar fee sounds better than the 5%. Just trying not to take a LOT of cash with us.

I know you didn't appreciate CB"s answer but I am a gambler. Las Vegas four times a year and Oklahoma casinos once a month and then cruises, eight a year. I never use a credit card for gambling because there is always a chance of charging too much.

 

That is why there is a safe in your cabin, bring what you can afford to spend.
