Dry Cleaning

I am not sure if I will have time to get a suit dry cleaned before we leave. A couple times (on RCCL) I've brought a suit and sent it out for dry cleaning the first night and it was back the next day - usually less cost than dry cleaner near home. One less detail before the cruise. Is this possible on HAL? We want to dress up and take some nice anniversary pictures on Gala night - 2nd night of cruise. Our cabin stewards were very good about expediting the cleaning.

Tell the cabin stewards as soon as you meet them. There is a blue, cloth drawstring bag in your closet and the dry cleaning order form / price list is usually clipped to a hangar. I'd roll the garments and slide them into the bag rather stuffing them in.

You should have no problem sending it out an having it back next day. tell your steward to put a 'rush ' on it.

It depends how attached you are to that suit. One long cruise we sent DH's favorite silk sport coat out to be dry cleaned. Not only did did they shrink it, but the lapels were pressed at very different angles. We've never had any dry cleaner do such a poor job of pressing. HAL did try to make it right by paying a reasonable price for the sport coat, but still we'll never send anything to to be dry cleaned on HAL again. We'd much rather still have that coat.
