jsmcruise Posted June 13, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2017 I'm booked with CAS for the Escape this Saturday. I'd like to make sure that I get 2 Vibe passes. It's my understanding that there is a separate check in for casino guests, but no priority boarding. What time should I arrive at the port for my best chance at group 1 boarding and Vibe passes? Thanks in advance!

Tennis*fan Posted June 13, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2017 I think we were boarding group 6 or 7 and had no problem getting 2 Vibe passes. We were #35 and #36 out of 70 given out. Headed to Headliner's comedy club to get them. Definitely worth it.... Sent from my iPad using Forums

Rare sid_9169 Posted June 13, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 13, 2017 It seems that the demand for Vibe varies from week to week... I arrived at Terminal C at 9:25 am and there were about 40 people ahead of me. I received Boarding Group 1 and waited by the area where I knew boarding would start. When people could see that boarding of Haven and upper tier Latitudes were boarding, about 60 people were standing behind the rope. They finally opened up for Group 1, and it was a mad dash to the check-in scanner, and afterwards a dash up the gangway. By the time I passed by Guest Services on the way to Headliners, I was in a full sprint (with my bag in tow...) I received pass #46, and 2 minutes later all of the passes were gone... jeffvb9 Posted June 13, 2017 #7 Share Posted June 13, 2017 Completely depends on how full the boat is. We arrived at 7:45am and were first in line at Terminal B. They let us into pre-security at 9am. They moved us through security at 10:00am. We received boarding card 1. They let us on at around 11:30 and we were numbers 35,36 but the cards were not in order and there were Haven and Plantinum people there already in line. Maybe 15. There were a lot of people literally running for vibe tickets. My wife is a gazelle luckily! Passes gone probably 2-3 min later.
mdsgu Posted June 13, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 13, 2017 We boarded on 6/3/17. We had boarding group 5, and the passes were gone by the time we got onboard.
Planmaam Posted June 13, 2017 #9 Share Posted June 13, 2017 Despite the time you get to the port, when you might be able to board is another thing. They have to wait until everyone from the previous sailing is off the ship. One time we had to stand in line over two hours to be let into the terminal because they were searching for the last few passengers who, it seemed, refused to leave the ship! I have threatened not to leave, but never try to delay so that the next sailings' folks can't board!!!!

How would I know where the boarding will start? And do you really have to run? I want the tickets so bad I would run, but I don't think by hubby will. :(
beerman2 Posted June 14, 2017 #11 Share Posted June 14, 2017 What time did you actually get onboard? Were you able to get Vibe passes? Thanks. We boarded shortly after 11. We were group 2. ( which was the first group to board from our terminal) Went directly to headliners had 19-22 numbers for Vibe passes. Hint : stand or sit close to embarkation point. There were a couple of people who sat on floor to entrance. We stood right behind them.
Rare sid_9169 Posted June 14, 2017 #12 Share Posted June 14, 2017 It depends on which terminal... In terminal B, the line for boarding begins right near the restrooms. In terminal C, if you're facing the ship, on the left side of the room, between where they take the embarkation photos and the glass wall... How would I know where the boarding will start? Thanks in advance! We were on the Epic early May.....embarkation was the worst that we have ever experienced.......did a B2B......still were amazed at the crowds when coming back onboard after the first 9 day leg of our trip.....although we were assured that the problems had to do with the fact that we were the "first" trip out of Barcelona for NCL.....that did not seem to help the following trip! Glad that we had our "Still on Vacation" stickers....but still had to FIGHT the NCL employees that wanted us to go thru security and join the huge lines! There was also no clear design for CAS, Haven guests, Latitude members....as we were all three.......lines were still ridiculous. So if I were you - I would go as early as possible and be prepared to wait in long lines in order to get your passes....which we did not need/want..... So,, while the Breakaway, Getaway and Escape sell 75ish Vibe passes, the Epic sells less than 10 Posh passes since the Posh Club is the private sundeck for the Havens guests.
