zerooveride Posted June 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2017 Sailing the Pride of America Next Week and both me and my wife mainly drink Ice Coffee. I know regular hot coffee is free, but what about Ice Coffee? Is it even available and if it is where can we get it. If its not free then how much does it cost? THANKS! Rare KeithJenner Posted June 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2017 Iced coffee is available on NCL ships at the Atrium cafe, but drinks there are an extra charge. I've never bought an Iced one, but something like $3 plus tip rings a bell.
sanger727 Posted June 21, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2017 I made my own iced coffees onboard. Grabbed a drink cup from one of the bars; went to the buffet, filled with ice, coffee, and a splash of milk. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
js Posted June 21, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2017 I only drink blacked iced coffee, every day, winter, spring, summer or fall. I hate to make iced coffee out of hot coffee, but many do. What I would do is bring a travel cup, fill with coffee the day you get on and put in fridge and repeat every day. I would also bring my own Splenda or whatever you use. Having ice in the cabin from the night before doesn't really work for me since most of it gets watered down so I stop and get ice on my way back from the gym. I also bring empty DD large iced coffee cups that I save throughout the year, fill with ice, coffee and my Splenda and then able to just throw the cup away when done. I put a lot of thought into my iced coffee on vacation LOL Enjoy!
OceanLover11 Posted June 22, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 22, 2017 Good tips! I also only drink iced coffee.
df5250 Posted June 22, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 22, 2017 I drink iced coffee all year round... I have since before DD offered it year round here in New England. I made iced out of hot on the ship, and even at the coffee bar they did the same. I really like the lavaza, even iced made from hot but it was $3+ per cup. However, Hawaii had great coffee on the islands! Give some of the local shops a try... I found their iced coffee's quite good!! Surfdog8667 Posted June 22, 2017 #7 Share Posted June 22, 2017 Just grab some via ice coffee packs from sbucks, just add ice and water.
Langham1865 Posted June 22, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 22, 2017 If you don't want watered down iced coffee, make some coffee the night before and don't pour it over ice. Put it in a water bottle of some sort and put it in your ice bucket overnight.
Zippeedee Posted June 22, 2017 #9 Share Posted June 22, 2017 My usual warning... if making coffee in your cabin, use bottled water. It will taste so much better! That being said, I drink mainly iced coffee, and I am on vacation when I'm on a ship, so the Atrium cafe is worth the cost to me for that first delicious iced americano, latte or cappuccino of the day.
