Has anyone used Uber from Port Canaveral?

We're toying with the prospect of leaving our car parked at the hotel. I think we can deal with using the hotel shuttle to the port, but would like to Uber back from the port (as opposed to having to wait for a shuttle).

 

Has anyone used Uber upon disembarkation? Is it easy to get one? Is it easy to find it when you get off the ship? Is there a designated area?

We used Uber last week for an Oasis cruise. Our experience was at Terminal 1. The Uber drivers preferred to drop off and pick up next to the terminal, on the road that leads to Grills. This was actually faster than entering the normal terminal entrance which was jammed with traffic.

And a bit cheaper!!! You do not have to pay the $3-$5 port entrance fee!

No, around 5 minutes. All concrete path too, no steps, so easy to roll the luggage.
