Cococay shade availability and cabanas

There are lots of shady spots available on the side of the island that has the kids water area and slide.

Which side has the kids area? We are taking our 2 year old grandson on the Adventure and I wanted to rent a cabana or bungalow. The information on rentals says "minimum age 4 years old". I'm really disappointed about that.

Walk straight off the tender to the beach, turn right and walk until you reach the kiddie area.

There is no "minimum" age to be a guest in a cabana....it's another RCI glitch.

However, there are plenty of trees for shade...you really don't have to spend a bundle on a cabana. If there isn't a lounger in the shade, move one or two where you want them!
