Explorer of the seas

Recommended Posts

We are cruising on Explorer of the Seas and I'm hoping to bring a jigsaw puzzle to build. Is there a place I can spread out and build a puzzle for a few hours? Hopefully a place with good lighting and a window nearby.

Viking Crown has windows, but not sure if there's a table large enough in the lounge section. Too bad they turned the card/game rooms into Izumi, that wouild have been perfect.

On another ship me and some others were able to get into one of the main dining rooms and use a table to play cards for a few hours (2 or 3 if I remember correctly). That might work for you.

Okay thanks! I can try that.

I have only seen that on the Anthem.

On the Explorer, there are tables outside on the pool deck.

During quiet (non-meal) times, you could go to the Windjammer.

There are tables in front of the pub. (don't take a huge puzzle ;) )

There are tables in front of Vintages.

There are tables on Deck 4 across from the Tavern Bar, formerly the Aquarium Bar, outside the front entrance of the casino.

There are tables at the Schooner Bar. The largest tables are against the windows.

Is the Windjammer open during non-meal times? Last year we went on the Allure of the seas and we couldn't get in in-between meal times.

Windjammer used to be open in the afternoon for snacks, but more and more I see it closed for a couple of hours before dinner.

Just came back from Explorer and they opened 1 level of main dining room - level 5 for card/ game playing. Some at sea days from 9-3.

They have tables set up for cards and puzzles in the library on deck 7. It does get crowded esp. on sea days though.

Is the Viking Crown Lounge open to everybody or just certain guests?
