Suite Embarkation and Disembarkation

Greetings everyone!

We will be in our first suite (Sky Suite, Equinox, Miami) in October and was wondering about embarkation and disembarkation.

Are embarkation procedures the same as we've experienced with our other Celebrity cruises, just with a different check-in line? Are escorts just for the top suites? Should we go to Michael's Club and/or Luminae? What about our carry-on luggage?

Is disembarkation via Michael's Club and they escort you off or do you go through the same procedures and lines as we've done previously with our concierge class rooms?

I know the top suites get extra care, but was wondering what was included with the "lowly" Sky Suite.

Thanks for any help!

Bruce

There is a separate line for suite guests. Procedure is the same as CC.

Depending on what time you board, you can go to Michaels, Luminae (if it is open), or anywhere else you choose to go to wait for cabins, assuming that it is before about 1:00PM.

Disembarkation, you can wait in Michael's as I recall. We choose to eat in the main DR and by the time we are done, it is usually time to depart. No escort for Sky that I am aware of, and there really was no need for one.

Hope this helps! Enjoy

We are Zenith and get the same benefits as a Sky Suite.

Were onboard Equinox last week.

Priority has taken a turn for the worse at Miami VS what it was in Terminal 18 at Port Everglades.

Getting into the terminal building there were two entrances - one for Suites, Zenith and visitors; the other for everyone else. The Suites/Zenith/visitors line was very long, I think there were a LOT of corporate visitors. The line for everyone else was empty. So we went thru the everyone else line.

Then everyone goes up the same escalator to the X-Ray machines. No sign whatsoever for Suites/Zenith. Had to make our way thru a VERY long queue even though there was no one on it.

Going to check in they did not have a sign for Suites/Zenith but when we asked were told to use the first unlabeled line. We get the Silver folder and were escorted onboard. I believe that Sky suites get the light blue folder and are not escorted onboard.

Disembarkation gathered in Michaels Club. Jole (the MCC) escorted the guest the 100 feet from the MC entrance to the exit on deck 5 and said goodbye. There was no priority customs line in the terminal for Suites/Zenith like there was at Terminal 18.

Being in a Sky Suite you can either go to MC or Luminae afer embarkation.

We were in a sky suite round trip out of Cape Liberty. The Michael's Club Concierge escorted us off in groups by our desired departure time and took us through a dedicated customs line. All the suite luggage was in one place.

Debarkation procedures probably depend on the Michael's Club Concierge. One of them walked me all the way to the elevator and said goodbye! One of them took a group of us off the ship and though the customs line where she took us to the front of the line. I'm sure you can guess which was the best concierge throughout the cruise.
