Summit has a "Full Moon Party" where you are encouraged to wear white. It's held on either the pool deck or in the Sky Lounge depending on the weather.

How’s the Food on The Summit Lately?
Zigster replied to Cruzinforpeace***'s topic in Celebrity Cruises
In reading comments on the Summit page from those that are and have been on sailings, everyone seems to be enjoying everything about the ship. -
We have been in The Retreat onboard Summit many times and just recently onboard Silhouette. Summit - Retreat Lounge there isn't a proper bar. Just a small area with maybe 2 high top tables. The lounge itself is lovely, seating is a bit uncomfortable as the chair choices by the designer was a bit of a mistake. The Retreat Sundeck has access by a rather high staircase and also an elevator which doesn't always work. It does not have a bar, but servers are available. Two levels with a small dining and seating area and loungers on the lower level. Limited specialty dining. Ship is stunning since being Revolutionized in 2019. Silhouette - Retreat Lounge is lovely with a full bar and seating. Retreat Sundeck 2 levels with a bar and overall the entire space is much larger than on Summit. Murano is definitely a highlight onboard Silhouette. And, the additional specialty dining is a bonus as well. Silhouette has also been Revolutionized and the updates are very nice. Given the choice between the two our choice would be Summit as we've found the ship to be more welcoming and intimate. While Silhouette is stunning, we find that the Summit crew is amazing, service outstanding and for us, just an overall better experience. However, we will be back onboard Silhouette in April for a 10 day to once again enjoy the Retreat and all that it has to offer.

Does the Constellation have an indoor pool available to all?
Zigster replied to LB_NJ's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I believe that at times those with children are allowed to use the pool. For some reason 7:00 pm is coming to mind. On certain cold weather sailings they also have hours where they are allowed in. -

Any Celebrity Millennium hints for a first timer?
Zigster replied to h-sar's topic in Celebrity Cruises
DaKahuna we were just on recently and doing this from memory. Not the exact names, but close enough. Chicken Caesar Salad Shrimp Cocktail Luminae Burger Turkey Wrap -
Summit - Retreat Lounge has a small bar area with no seating. There is a bartender there to make drinks. Also in this area is a high top with 2 chairs. Off in the main area are many chairs with very low tables for light bites that are available throughout the day. Summit - Retreat Sundeck does not have a bar. There are crew there to get you drinks as well as maybe 8 tables and chairs for light lunches. I believe there are 4 items on the menu.

Random thoughts while onboard the Millenium Christmas / NYE cruise
Zigster replied to kk20's topic in Celebrity Cruises
She looks very different from when I met her on Millennium in November. Her hair was much darker. -

That's not Brittany. She's been posting on Instagram and it's not from the ship. -
I agree 100% with your observations. In October we were onboard for the 12 day repo from Boston. It was a true Celebrity sailing experience. We remained onboard for the 4 day and it was as if we were transformed into another universe. I agree with those of you who have stated on your sailings the number of 20 somethings was limited. That was the case in years past, but at the going rate of $200 per person that is no longer the case. Many onboard were loud, obnoxious and showed lack of manners. Shorts, ballcaps, t-shirts and flip flops at dinner?? That is not the Celebrity that I've sailed with the past 25 years.

On our recent Summit sailings, they have had the "Full Moon Party" and you're encouraged to wear white.

Celebrity's website doesn't need to be changed for Summit's port stop in Bermuda. The requirement for the ending of the Bermuda Authorization doesn't go in effect until 25 October.
-
My apologies. I'm dealing with the 3 October Canada sailing and the upcoming repo that ports in Bermuda. Pardon my confusion! 🤔😕😵
-
I believe that those booked in the 3 October Summit sailing have received an email with the updates. From Celebrity's website https://www.celebritycruises.com/healthy-at-sea/us-travel-requirements-visiting-canada
-
Sadly Summit's Repositioning sailing guests still need to test as we port in Bermuda on 17 October for a 6 hour stop.

I believe that the Daniel Boulud Chef's Table is held in Tuscan Grill. It is offered I believe on the first night and if there is a demand for it, possibly another night as well. There was never a Murano on Constellation (or any M class ship).

What is the most effective way to get a move up
Zigster replied to Caroldoll's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Is your date 12/19? Summit is in Miami in December, not Boston. -
The Royal Suite onboard Edge has access to the balcony only from the bedroom. We found it odd. Not only when entertaining guests, but hoping not to disturb sleeping DH if I wanted to relax on balcony.

Yes, Retreat Sundeck (no pool, but a hot tub) and Retreat Lounge (formerly Michael's Club).

In your Cruise Planner under dining is the "Inside Access Tour". Very informative!
