roothy123 Posted August 14, 2017 #26 Share Posted August 14, 2017 (edited) If you wold look at your updated booking sheet it will show that Cienfuegos is a Tender port . Sent from my iPhone using Forums Thank you. I looked at what our travel agent forwarded from Viking, but it didn't include a revised booking or itinerary sheet, just Viking's email, which doesn't specify docking or tendering (or have an anchor or other clue). I can't find anything on My Viking Journey either. SO - could you please tell me which cruise (date) you're on? Maybe you tender but we dock. It happens. It also CAN change at the last minute, although that hasn't happened to us much. Either situation is OK with me, but I AM one of those people who like to know a lot before the actual cruise rolls around, so thanks for your help. Go-Bucks! Posted August 16, 2017 #27 Share Posted August 16, 2017 On the Oceania website, the itinerary of my cruise on Dec. 8, 2017 does not have any tender ports - docking at all 3 ports.
Rare LHT28 Posted August 16, 2017 #28 Share Posted August 16, 2017 I believe Roothy & the other poster are talking about VIKING cruises & they could be tender ports for them
Paulchili Posted August 16, 2017 #29 Share Posted August 16, 2017 I believe Roothy & the other poster are talking about VIKING cruises & they could be tender ports for them That would make sense - they are larger ships and this port might not be able to accommodate them. IWantToLiveOverTheSea Posted August 16, 2017 Author #30 Share Posted August 16, 2017 Yes, the poster was asking about Viking Oceans. And yes, their ships are larger in size and number of passengers than Oceania's smaller ships. However, they're smaller in size and number of passengers than Oceania's larger ships! Insignia and Viking Sun will both be in Cienfuegos on the same day in early December, so one ship will have to tender.

True but only Insignia & Sirena go to Cienfuegos so a moot point on size of the Oceania ship & passenger load
Paulchili Posted August 16, 2017 #32 Share Posted August 16, 2017 However, they're smaller in size and number of passengers than Oceania's larger ships! . While that is true, it is also irrelevant as the O class ships do not go to Cienfuegos (yet). I wish they did - I would be on one of them ASAP :)
