You should not even have to give it to them... you "scan" it yourself... they usually call u by name and verify your picture.

Yes, the card must be scanned. On Harmony, the card has an RFID chip.

As host Bob has already answered, nope. However if you have an anti-RFID sleeve on the card instead of clear plastic it isn't going to work.

Yes, but none of the ships uses the slots any more. The staff have hand-held scanners.
