Port of Miami to Miami airport

this is our first cruise! How do we get from the port of Miami to the airport at the end of the cruise?? Sorry if this is a silly question!

3 popular ways: Uber or Lyft; taxi; Carnival shuttle bus, listed in order of increasing costs. I usually taxi for $27 for 2 plus tip.

They have vans right outside $10pp and you have then 2 take a taxi about $27 or there is Lyft and Uber.

Check the cost of Carnival transfers. Just jump on the bus at the port and off at the Airport.

don't like the transfers because you have to wait for the bus to fill and more expensive than Uber or Lyft, which are not per person but per ride and you leave immediately

Don't do this. Sure check on the price, but it is usually the same cost as a taxi. Taxi is a flat $27 per taxi (up to five people). But with a taxi, you won't have to wait to fill the bus and wait to get off at the airport with all the others. Taxi is much faster and will drop you right at your Airlines door. If you are comfortable with Uber, by all means do this, cheaper yet.

We got off the Escape on Saturday and was planning on calling Uber but as we were exiting the cruise terminal, a Super Shuttle was leaving and the driver said it was $10 pp. We took it as we didn't have to cross over to the waiting area to call and wait for the Uber and it would have been about the same cost.

If time is on your side I would take Uber or Lfyt.

 

The airport is less then 30 minutes from the port.

 

If you are concerned about time I would just take a taxi.
