Rare manders175 Posted August 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2017 I just looked up our ports of call for our January cruise on Enchantment. According to the cruise time tables site there will be 6 ships in port the day we are there. Is there even room for that many? Lol. Clarea Posted August 24, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2017 4 carnival ships, disney dream, and Enchantment. Cant even imagine how crowded it will be... I'd be concerned with the line of cruisers trying to get through security to get back on the ships.
Rare manders175 Posted August 24, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted August 24, 2017 There is a website called cruiseportinsider.com that states Nassau can accomodate 7 cruise ships at once. I just dont see it on a map of the port. Lol. We are in port til midnight so we will make it back on eventually! :) Sent from my SM-G935V using Forums mobile app
cb at sea Posted August 24, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 24, 2017 While most folks go ashore within an hour or so of arriving, folks will be "filtering" back onto ships all afternoon. It's not like every passenger who goes ashore (and many stay on the ship at this port) will arrive back at the same time. No worries.

Getting through security to get back on the pier can be a pain to say the least.
Capt_BJ Posted August 24, 2017 #9 Share Posted August 24, 2017 (edited) this picture shows the 5 'parking spots' for cruise ships in Nassau they fit six by putting two smaller ships at the 'top' pier typically. The extra 'dolphin' or mooring point above the "400" allows a ships to hang off either end (east/west) of the actual pier. #7? The berth below "1" can accommodate a very small cruiser. Recently a missionary operated ex-cruiser - LOGOS HOPE - was there for about a week .... that makes 7 spots Edited August 24, 2017 by Capt_BJ

MiniChunks Posted August 24, 2017 #12 Share Posted August 24, 2017 With that many ships docked, and Nassau being Nassau, I'd get to see what a ship looks like during the day while in port.
