gardenmumrn Posted August 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2017 We've been watching for the excursions to load on NCL's site so we can choose and book excursions for our 10 day Southern Caribbean sailing 11/6. There are some however this can't possibly be all of them, can it? There are zero listed for a couple of ports... tried to contact NCL but they say "either the excursions haven't loaded or they are all booked". Is this normal?? brookie848 Posted August 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2017 I'm on the 11/12 Southern sailing on the Dawn. In the past week, we've finally had excursions listed for three of the ports. We've had limited excursions for the other two ports (St. Thomas and St. Maarten) for a while now. Keep a close eye on things -- it seems they are just now getting these Southern cruises together. I expect more excursions to be loaded soon. I agree, though, that it has been annoying to wait. And I'm pretty certain that they have not all been booked. I think in reality only a few of the most popular excursions book up completely. This is especially true in popular ports, where doing things on your own is simple and much, much cheaper. This seems to be the NEW NORMAL... keep checking, like so many others are doing for their (our) cruises!

It is now less than 100-90 days when you would see all the shore excursions listed for your cruise. And each day up to your cruise, they would add more to the list. NCL would still keep some shore excursions open for cruisers to book on board. Have you checked shore excursions not directly from NCL? Sometimes private shore excursions are less expensive. The only reason I would go with NCL shore excursions is because of using the $50 shore excursions credit per each port on the cruise.
