Well, we really enjoyed Turkey, Athens, and breakfast at the Grande Bretagne. Our view could not have been better!

 

Unfortunately we are now in the Skyserv lounge indulging one last time before boarding our flight.

I am particularly interested in learning more about your hike to Oia. What time did you start and how long did it take to reach Oia?

We put down a $2,000 refundable, open deposit for the 5% discount...so we will see. [emoji6]

We started the hike around 9:30AM, stopped for pictures and a quick espresso and was in Oia by 11:30AM. We did keep a decent pace otherwise, and my wife and daughter regretted wearing sandals...but all really enjoyed the view.

 

Wouldn't want to start the hike much later, it was starting to get hot after 11:00AM

We've been thinking about doing the hike, but we were discouraged to read in various places that it normally takes four hours. Knowing you did it in half the time despite the sandals, is good news!
