gymfreak Posted November 5, 2019 Author #280 Share Posted November 5, 2019 Ok, it’s one week until we board Pursuit. Time to get my packing organised. The question is do I need to include some cans of Fevertree tonic? Greatly appreciate any up to date advice from recent or current cruisers onboard Thanks all and happy sailing 🛳 Vicki
Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted November 5, 2019 #281 Share Posted November 5, 2019 Tangentially related to this long-standing Azamara thread: CC recently had a Q&A forum with the president of Windstar, so I asked him about tonic. His response: On 10/15/2019 at 1:50 PM, WSCPresident said: I’m a big fan of Fever Tree as well but it’s difficult for us to source globally for our worldwide deployment so we do use Schweppes. I’ve never had Silent Pool Gin but will have to give it a try. So apparently this isn't an issue of 'bean counters' ruining our drinks, but rather a supply issue for worldwide operations. [I suggested that he join Amazon Prime. ]
