cltnccruisers Posted September 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2017 We'll be on Silhouette in March and were thinking of bringing on some soda and bottled water at our first stop just to have in the cabin. Are there any restrictions with this and will the cabin steward be OK emptying the fridge?

You can also bring on board two bottles of wine to enjoy in the cabin, if you use them in the restaurant you will be charged a corkage fee ($20 I think). Enjoy! Enjoy! c - it is usually upon 'initial' embarkation and not the first stop after the initial embarkation, which I take that the OP is inquiring about. Wine brought aboard after embarkation has mixed results in terms confiscation and return on last night of sailing. As for other beverages brought aboard after the initial embarkation maybe subject to local laws and ship policy, which you may wish to contact X for the policy, general that is, as I have not not read anything on this particular situation. bon voyage
ClaudiaB Posted September 6, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Note it is not a refrigerator. It is a cooler. It will not get your cokes and water as cold as at home. We get our ice bucket filled twice a day.
ClaudiaB Posted September 6, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 6, 2017 If you know you want to get water and cokes, bring them when you first get on the ship. Put a luggage tag on a case or two and it will be delivered to your cabin.
cltnccruisers Posted September 6, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Thanks, all. First stop is Old San Juan. With the Walgreen's right by the pier we figured it might be simplest to just grab something on the way back on board.
Rare cruisestitch Posted September 6, 2017 #8 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Bring a sturdy bag when you head off to go shopping...the one Celebrity gives you is better than the flimsy bag you will get at Walgreens.

We always take a couple of canvas shopping bags - learned that pretty early on.
