Top three things besides price or ports

Recommended Posts

1. Departure port - would rather not have to fly

2. Overall condition of the ship - does not have to be new or mega, but I like updated décor and a minimum amount of wear and tear in the cabin.

3. Best price for a suite. Sky high prices for Haven (during peak weeks, which is when we have to travel right now until we no longer have a kid in school) usually drive us toward suites on the smaller ships. Someday Haven, someday...

The ship, for me the ship is the destination. Most all ports have something nice to offer, after 30 cruises one Caribbean beach is as nice as the next. I book all my cruises based on the ship. The age, the size, has be be newer and have all the bells and whistles.
