Sorta the upgrade fairy............

Got an email from TA that my son and his wife could move from inside to obstructed view for $28 pp. I thought it was $28 pp per day, but it was $28 for the WEEK ($56 total). I jumped on it, but they won't find out until they're on the ship (SURPRISE!) :)

 

p.s. I know it was an up sell :) I'd like to think of it as the upgrade fairy paying us a visit since we've only been upgraded once out of all of our cruises!

I prefer natural light too... but hard to tell what time of the day/night it is when you in an Inside....

 

Easy way to tell if it's day/night. Leave your TV on to the Bridge camera & you'll know when it's daylight outside. I do this every time I'm in an inside stateroom. I also use a IPod on the desk using a clock app so I always know what time it is at night.

From our obstructed view we watched the sea gulls jump around on the tenders any time we were in port! We also watched some maintenance work, greasing of the big lines that hold them. They'll enjoy it completely, what a wonderful surprise that will be for them. Have a great time!
