Rare lucywestie Posted September 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2017 So I have made reservations for our upcoming Jade cruise and I went through the NCL website to do all the bookings. But I want to cancel one as we have moved it to another date. I can't seem to find anywhere within my vacation summary or my log in that would let me cancel online. Easy to book but not so easy to cancel it seems. Any suggestions?
PugsRuleATL Posted September 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2017 You have to call NCL, I believe, to do the cancellation. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
casofilia Posted September 25, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2017 You cannot do it online; you have to phone NCL.
phissy Posted September 25, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2017 Just off the Pearl to Alaska. Did not want to bother NCL with Cagney's cancellation due to Irma. Decided to handle it after onboard at Restaurant reservations desk. They told me just not to show up and after 15 minutes, reservation is cancelled. This is what we did. Not a problem for us and they have people on waitlist so, if no show, they are given the table. I would not waste my time calling NCL for this. Last night on cruise, we went to a different restaurant than our reservation. We decided to eat earlier so we could get our bags out the door by midnight. They informed us we had a reservation at Cagney's at 9:30. Did we still want to keep that one??? No, thank you. No problem, they then cancelled it in the system and we ate at 8:00 at MDR. Rare ColeThornton Posted September 25, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2017 I don't think it's a waste of time calling and cancelling. It frees up the reservation time so that other people can call in advance and book. Having said that I can't understand why there isn't the ability to cancel online.
LadyBerard Posted September 25, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 25, 2017 I made reservations for LeBistro on the Dawn for 9/17 on their website (so I thought). After I boarded the ship on 9/15, I went to the desk for restaurant reservations to confirm our reservation. They did not have it showing. No problem, made it directly with them at the reservation desk. They were very accommodating.
