Question about Platinum Dinners

OK, I think I can do this, but do not want to embarrass myself, so I will ask the experts here. My husband and I are platinum, so we get the two dinners for two people (one at le bistro w/wine; one at La Cucina). My sister-in-law, who is joining us in our suite, is not platinum. We are in the Haven, and my husband and I, the first two guests in the room, also have the 3 specialty dinner package. My SIL does not have a specialty dinner package. So, I would like to do this

1. Platinum dinner #1, me use it and take SIL as my guest, and have my husband use one of his specialty dinners.

2. Platinum dinner # 2, him use it and take his sister as his guest, and have me use one of my specialty dinners.

Then my husband and I would each have 2 specialty dinners remaining from the package. Any reason we cannot do that?

Good question. It gets a bit confusing, but thinking it should work

We are in a similar situation on our upcoming cruise - but Sister barely eats and thinking about doing ala-carte. But, maybe that would work - the above scenario?

(we are often fine at buffet or MDR)
