Save $450 on GS, but lose refundable status?

I'm booked on Brilliance of the Seas for Oct. 2018 in a Grand Suite. I booked before the "non-refundable" was mandatory for GS. I noticed today that the trip is coming up to about $450 less than when I booked it earlier this year.

I'm weighing the option of saving the $450 on my booking by telling RCL to rebook my room for the cheaper rate, but then I'd be subject to the non-refundable rules if I change or cancel my booking...which is a year away.

What would you do? :(

It sounds like it would be worth it to book with the lower rate and nonrefundable deposit. You would save $450. On the off chance that you can't take the cruise later, you would lose $500, which is only $50 more than you are paying now. In that situation, I would take the risk.
