BearsCruise Posted November 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2017 The older I get, the more caffeine affects me at night. Does NCL have any decaf colas? Sent from my TF300T using Forums mobile app
DonTheRadioGuy Posted November 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Sprite/Sierra Mist, root beers and orange/grape sodas are decaf. Caffeine Free Coke is a rare animal anywhere.

DonTheRadioGuy Posted November 5, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 5, 2017 NCL still has Pepsi products, right? I do think so. My experience is with RCCL and Carnival, my first NCL cruise isn't until January, but from what I see it's Pepsi. So Sierra Mist and Mug Root Beer might be your only options. fastpitchdad Posted November 5, 2017 #10 Share Posted November 5, 2017 And beer. This...I have been told that beer has no caffeine so I have decided to go on a strict no caffeine diet. Seriously OP, I am the same. The only time I really feel bad after a night out is if I had any caffeine.
johnrich Posted November 5, 2017 #11 Share Posted November 5, 2017 I am actually a diabetic with high blood pressure so I drink sugar free, caffeine free soda. I contacted the NCL Access desk prior to sailing and they told me they had sodas that would fit my requirements but didn’t tell me what they would be in the email. On both the Getaway and Escape they had Diet Sierra Mist and Diet Ginger Ale that I drank so I am assuming that would be the case on all ships but not positive due to the vague response from the Access department. Sent from my iPhone using Forums We will be on our first cruise since my husband was diagnosed with diabetes. I would really appreciate your opinion of how they handle this. If they are good at handling it we may actually be able to relax a bit instead of worrying the whole time if he's going to feel ok. We will definitely be conscious of the sugar/carbs but if they are also somewhat on the ball, it will be a bit easier. Thanks in advance and enjoy your cruise. If you wouldn't mind, can you email me and let me know? JoAnn dot Nickl at Yahoo dot com

Rare Peachypooh Posted November 5, 2017 #14 Share Posted November 5, 2017 I drank diet pepsi when on the Gem. it wasn't caffeine free.
JerseyMom Posted November 5, 2017 #15 Share Posted November 5, 2017 They have Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Sierra Mist, Mt. Dew, Ginger Ale, Tonic water, Club Soda. The Sierra Mist and the Ginger Ale should be fine. Stay away from the Mt. Dew - when I was in college that would be what some students would drink to stay away. JerseyMom Posted November 5, 2017 #17 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Darned auto-correct on the spelling. I meant they would drink Mt. Dew to stay awake. Thanks for pointing that out, dexddd.

JerseyMom Posted November 6, 2017 #24 Share Posted November 6, 2017 Does the flavored water have sugar added? I have been told is is sweetened with artificial sweetner. My friend's husband, who is diabetic, absolutely loved it.

I'll have to ask next time; it would be nice to have a bigger selection of non-sugary drinks.
