Forgot to cash out slot voucher.

Hi everyone,

My family and I just came back from norwegian Breakaway that sailed out of NYC. I totally forgot to cash out 2 casino vouchers and reached out to the cruise casino rep. Even though the term and condition says ticket is void after the end of the cruise, she told me that I can give it to someone who is going on the cruise to cash it out, expiration of the ticket is usually 90 days from the ticket was issued.

Does anyone have experienced same issue before and what was the resolution?

Maybe post on the next roll call for the Breakaway and see if anyone local would be willing to cash in your voucher for you. Another idea- a lot of times they organize slot pulls on the roll calls maybe you can ask someone to include you in the slot pull with the vouchers?

When I forget to cash out it just goes to my room. Did you use your casino card or room key?

They mentioned a voucher - TITO - ticket in, ticket out which at that point is no longer connected to anything. It is the same as cash... if you are there and can cash it out in the machine or counter.

I did that once on Jade but it was on a back to back cruise. I assumed the ticket would just be able to be cashed or put back into a machine on the 2nd cruise but it apparently becomes invalid once the cruise is over. However the casino manager was able to do something manually to get the cashier to pay me since they knew me already.

We talking mega money here?

We had one we'd used in june and forgot so when onboard in September we went to the casino desk, they said they needed to contact Miami, they took the name, cabin and date of the june cruise. 2 days later we got a call to say it would be honoured but only because it was ours. It was only $32 so we're willing to take it as a lesson learnt but they agreed to let us have it as obc.

Hi, yes I did use my casino card but it does not go to my cruise account directly. I think I remembered Carnival used the cruise card also as casino player card, but not the case with NCL.

Good idea. I just registered as a new user in this forum so not familiar with roll call or the chat room yet. Thank you for the suggestion.

I see. It's about $160 for me this time. So I would love to get it back if possible. T.T

Did you try to put it into the TITO machine before you went to the cashier desk to cash it out?
