SNJCruisers Posted December 4, 2017 #26 Share Posted December 4, 2017 The other closet would be out of shot as it's next to the television. I'm certain that this is again an image of a YC1 - why would they put up a curtain to emphasise the lack of a window? Either way, you're right Seapad: it's best now just to wait! According to cruiseshipdeckplans...it is a YC1. Check out this link and look at the picture that they have on their site for the YC1. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/MSC-Seaside
Two Wheels Only Posted December 4, 2017 #27 Share Posted December 4, 2017 Until I see a solid wall behind that curtain (not a balcony), I'll continue to believe that we are seeing a YC deluxe suite. Looking at the deckplan, the interior doesn't look wide enough for the bed to be oriented the same in both room types.
bocamimi Posted December 4, 2017 #28 Share Posted December 4, 2017 Can you ask the poster of this video the cabin number? If we get the cabin number we can look it up on the MSC deck plan. Thanks

gkbiiii Posted December 4, 2017 Author #32 Share Posted December 4, 2017 The above post is from the UK MSC website of a YC Interior cabin. Which is the same one MSC used on their last ship, which are not the same, due to the greatly increased Inside YC Suite, size on Seaside.
Rare eroller Posted December 5, 2017 #33 Share Posted December 5, 2017 One of the facebook pages I am member of; there is a current Seaside passenger who posed three pics, of his Inside Yacht Club Suite. I asked him to clarify and he stated that it is, indeed inside YC Suite. As much as I would love to believe this is a YC Interior Suite, I'm 99.9% sure it's not. It's almost certainly a YC Deluxe Suite. What is unfortunate is that MSC continues to post renderings of a YC Interior Suite that looks like this. Complete misrepresentation. While the YC Insides on Seaside are larger than those on Meraviglia, they are not this big. I sure wish they were.
Cruisin4beaches Posted December 5, 2017 #34 Share Posted December 5, 2017 I hate burst your bubble but I just watched a you tube video from a poster Boris Boev (audio is in Russian) At the end of the video which is about the top 19 solarium he goes down to deck 18 and goes into a YC inside cabin 18033. The next video(on auto play) goes into a YC balcony(with sofa and room divider) then into the YC restaurant and lounge. The cabin had a nice layout, big tv but no room divider or sofa no place to sit other than the bed, stool in front of the mirror/desk (or the toilet) also very small closet not much drawer storage either. Pack light and plan on living out of your suitcase! I`ll be on Seaside April 28 in a YC inside (solo). My second MSC cruise, first in YC.
Two Wheels Only Posted December 5, 2017 #35 Share Posted December 5, 2017 ...and goes into a YC inside cabin 18033. 18033 is a Yacht Club HC interior. People want to see one of the Yacht Club standard interior.

Yes I think it's pretty obvious at this point that the cabin pictured earlier is actually a YC Deluxe Suite, not a YC Interior Suite. Also in the video you mention, when they tour cabin 18033, that is actually a wheelchair accessible YC Interior Suite, so it's even a little larger than the average YC Interior Suite. It would be great to see pictures or video of a standard YC Interior Suite. So far I haven't seen it.
dodgeenterprises Posted December 7, 2017 #37 Share Posted December 7, 2017 Do yo think you will be able to view the tv from the bed, or will the divider block some of the view. Does the tv pull out and swivel?
