Question about porters at disinbarkation

Never used porters to take our luggage to our car after a cruise, But our next month in Baltimore I'm going to need them, what do you give them for helping with your luggage and do they bring it to your car. never used them because I was not sure what to pay and how it works.

They will bring it to your car in most ports. We usually tip $10 or more. Not that we have a lot of luggage but because they make it so much easier to get through customs and ease back into real life.

$5-$10 depending on how many bags.

I pay $10 as a standard fee. More if I feel it is deserved or reasonable given the circumstances.

We also normally tip ten and have 4 bags

Port Liberty (Bayonne, NJ) might be different, but there was a baggage loading area on the first floor of the parking garage. The porters just dropped the bags there and I went and got the car and loaded them myself. Saved a lot of time because I could take the stairs and didn't have to wait in the elevator line for the people trying to take their bags up to the cars.
