downundermatt Posted December 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 23, 2017 We hope to reach Elite Plus in the new year, and I saw one of the perks is free coffees. Is this available anywhere, including Cafe al Bacio ? Alsodoes the offer extend to tea ? (As it's not specifically mentioned)
Wine-O Posted December 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 23, 2017 We hope to reach Elite Plus in the new year, and I saw one of the perks is free coffees. Is this available anywhere, including Cafe al Bacio ? Alsodoes the offer extend to tea ? (As it's not specifically mentioned) Yes, it does include teas. It is available at other bars, but be sure to tell them you are Elite Plus so you won't get charged. Most get theirs from Cafe al Bacio, so other bars/bartenders might not be familiar with the perk. Rare Germancruiser Posted December 23, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 23, 2017 Yes the tea is very nice- yes al Bacio is wonderful- yes there ships are stunning, yes the crew and service are still great. Sadly Al Bacio is almost always overcrowded- rarely one get´s a seat there- according to my dear friend currently on board the Milli!
Rare cruisestitch Posted December 23, 2017 #5 Share Posted December 23, 2017 That very much depends on the itinerary and the mix of passengers -- on port days there is hardly ever a problem finding a seat. When there are many British passengers, Cafe al Bacio can be more crowded than when there are fewer British (just my observation). When there are many families aboard, Cafe al Bacio isn't so popular. There are so many variables. Those are just two, but the weather is also a huge factor -- on sunny days, there are plenty of seats in the Cafe. If it starts to rain, everybody runs inside and many seek a cup of hot coffee! On the two-week Eclipse itineraries in the Caribbean in February and March, there is sometimes so much pressure on Cafe al Bacio that they open a "satellite" cafe, using the seating in the Sushi area.
