bobchico Posted December 27, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 27, 2017 The Explorations Cafe does and I have had no problem getting one to take down to the Lido.
regnig Posted December 27, 2017 #5 Share Posted December 27, 2017 No paper cups as cruise ships use as little paper products as possible with the exception of your daily promo adds. But the coffee cup (mug) can be taken out of the lido with you so it acts just the same as a "paper to go cup". The provided cups/mugs do not hold a large amount and some folks bring their own travel mugs and or water bottles. There is signage that requests you do not fill your personal cup directly from the machine spout in order to reduce the risk of transference of germs. Just fill one of the provided ones and pour it into your personal container.
summer slope Posted December 27, 2017 #6 Share Posted December 27, 2017 I always bring hot/cold travel mugs. We fill them with the cups/glasses provided. Fill coffee early in the am and take it to the crow's nest to watch the sun come up.
creel5857 Posted January 2, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 2, 2018 we always take inexpensive set of travel mugs and enjoy them for both hot and cold beverages in cabin and around ship. If we come up short on luggage space to come home we just leave them behind (reason for taking inexpensive variety)
sail7seas Posted January 2, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 2, 2018 Fill a lido cup with coffee and empty it intto your keep hot insulated cup If many of us put our own cups under the nozzle, it could srpead germs, Oops, I missed post #5 above before doing my post. ithaca gal Posted January 3, 2018 #9 Share Posted January 3, 2018 We bring high-quality (but low cost!) insulated cups to keep drinks hot or cold. The sun really melts ice quickly, and this keeps our cold drinks from being watered down. The bonus is when we are using it to walk around with hot coffee. idiebabe Posted January 3, 2018 #10 Share Posted January 3, 2018 We bring some disposable (paper) 16 oz Cups/Lids from home. We get them in the Big Box store or on online. They come in handy even in the hotel and don't have to deal with washing them.
