Bedding

I get very hot at night and I find those big down conformers that seem to be so popular to be awful. What is on the bed and do I have options to ask for a normal cotton blanket? Mind you I would like linen sheets, also, but I don't expect to get those!;p

While you are likely correct about the sheets, you can ask for blankets instead of the duvet. We also find the duvet too warm and always ask for a blanket (that they wrap sheets around). It is much better. If you book a PH or higher suite, you can make the request for a blanket online on the Butler Form. Otherwise, just ask stewardess/steward - they will be happy to accommodate your request.

Just saw this thread. Duvets will help regulate your body heat at night IF you use them properly. No sheets under them. Let them wrap around you. If you get hot - stick your foot out. That's all you need for a good night's sleep. It usually takes me a few days to "train" the stewardess to leave off the sheet. I hate sleeping with anything other than a duvet. Even when I go to Florida I take mine with me, in q vacuum pack. Fits nicely into my suitcase...
