Tour time too close?

We are currently booked for a tour of Chacchoben in Costa Maya with Native Choice. It is a four hour tour, leaving at noon and coming back around four.

I am considering changing the tour to one that includes both the ruins and a lunch with a Maya family, which is an hour and a half longer, so we would return to the port at 5:30. The ship is scheduled to leave at 7. Is that too close?

I have done tours several times with Native Choice and they guarantee they will get you back in time. Just be sure you tell them what ship you are on.
