Price31 Posted January 27, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2018 I booked Cagneys for 3 on the 1st night of my upcoming cruise, however, there wasn't an option for 3, so I selected 4 people. I see on other nights, I could've picked 3, just not that night for some reason. Will they bill me for 4 people?
FLcruisergrl Posted January 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2018 No, they’ll bill you for what is eaten and by whom.
sanger727 Posted January 27, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2018 No. We were in the same boat. Could only book for even numbers of people. Once we got onboard we went to the reservation desk and had them change our reservations from 4 to 3; but not sure that it mattered. 3 people will be sat at a 4 top either way. don't-use-real-name Posted January 27, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2018 NCL has this thing about ODD numbers ! ? Computers and booking formats are almost always in even numbers. It is impossible to book -7- on any of the systems. And like the game of golf - a single has no standing. Workaround is to book an EVEN number and have the restaurant reservations adjust for it. As noted in the previous post - table service is always for an even number. Never have seen a triangle table for three. LOL ! In the Main Dining rooms there are numerous ways to set up for large parties. Smaller dining venues maybe limited by space. The Teppanyaki for instance is limited to seating around the grilling table. So go ahead and book that table for 4 for your party of 3. If there is an upfront payment required it will be credit adjusted on your on board account. You will be seated and the table setting for the fourth person removed - no charge of course. Let me know if you find that triangle table for -3- "Ripley's Believe it or Not" would be interested.
Son of a son of a ... Posted January 27, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2018 The even numbers are for table size. You seat a party of three at a four top. However, with DIY reservations, they force the patron to select table size by offering only even numbered reservations. Bottom line ... worry not. Since the restaurant is a la carte and the 4th person isn’t going to eat very much, you’ll get billed for what is ordered.
