kelanikiki1 Posted February 2, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Where are the good places to park in Miami that aren’t an arm and a leg per night? Is there a shuttle to cruise terminal? Thank you!
capriccio Posted February 2, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Welcome to cruise critic! Take a look at the postings about off site parking in Miami on the Florida Departures Board: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=495. Most, if not all, locals recommend parking at the port ($22/day) for safety and convenience.
AroundTheWorld1 Posted February 2, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Wouldn’t even think about not parking at the port garage, so convenient, well lite and a walk right across the street.....worth the $22 a day for piece of mind. Just did a quick search and I know Miami well...this is what comes up for the top places to park.....those reviews don’t say much about off site parking....so if I can give you any advice really think about it. fishywood Posted February 2, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Parking at the onsite garages at PortMiami may cost an arm and a leg. But parking offsite may cost a tire and a battery. Or a windshield and a license plate. For certain any items mistakenly left inside in plain sight. And quite possibly your keys if required to leave them with the lot. Not having to wait for a hot and crowded return shuttle to retrieve your car is reason alone to park onsite. And once all the ships have left in the afternoon the garages are locked down--no one in or out until the next day. Find the $22/day in your budget. Rare Keith1010 Posted February 2, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Do not park off site. There are lots of safety issues and also issues related to damage to your car. Park at the port. $22.00 per day but safe and you basically park a two minute walk to the terminal/ship. Keith
cmdchiefthom Posted February 4, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 4, 2018 My F 350 fits nicely into the Cruise Port parking, and I feel much more comfortable knowing its is in a secure area in the port.;)
evandbob Posted February 4, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 4, 2018 Arm and a leg? Miami seaport terminal parking is 1/2 what it costs at the Hudson River terminal in NYC. I guess NYC costs 2 arms and both legs then?
