Need some guidance please

Looking for some guidance. I have a decision to make and I am not sure what to do. My wife and I have been on ten cruises and this was to be the next one. I have a spa balcony booked through casinos at sea on the Escape sailing 4/7... drink package, dining package, spa all included. Well recently my wife and I have decided to separate. It’s sad but we mutually agreed to part ways..as you can deduce she is not going....I can go alone still, I assume they will up charge me but I have no idea what to do, just show up alone and board alone?.. I know people solo cruise, but I am def apprehensive about going alone...I dont have anyone else that I know to ask that can go...what to do what to do...

Since you are so close to sail date just say nothing and let her be a “no show”. They should refund the port charges and taxes but as you know it’s too late to get a refund on her portion (unless you have cancel for any reason insurance).

Many people go alone but that is a personal decision.

Definitely go on the cruise -- there are a lot of people who cruise solo.

Since you've already paid for 2, which is how the cabin is priced, you will NOT owe a "supplement". Simply have her be a

no-show and her taxes/port fees will be refunded to your onboard account.

This thread begs the question: As a HYPOTHETICAL, if my bride kicks me to the curb and one of my daughters decided that she wanted to go, would I be allowed to change the name of the second passenger in the cabin? If so, how much lead time required?

 

(And, yeah, I get that I'd have to ask the steward to convert the queen bed into two singles.)
