Personal small fan

I keep looking and the newest thread I can find is 2011. I have always taken a small personal fan when I cruise. Has is anyone cruised within the last year on Royal Caribbean that brought one? I brought a battery operated one year and it wasn’t strong enough so that’s not an option for me. I sure hope they allow it. My husband has a CPAP machine and he radiates heat from using the machine and I get so hot I can’t sleep.

I always bring a fan! Did it on Celebrity, on Royal and goin on Carnival! Celebrity even brought me an extension cord! No worries they allow it!

You will have no problems bringing your own fan.

You mentioned the battery powered fan that was not strong enough. There are some that only take 2 batteries and really are pretty worthless, but look for one that takes 4 batteries - these do move quite a bit of air. I think I found mine at Bed Bath & Beyond, but Amazon probably has them also. With a battery-powered one you can put it where you want and not worry about extension cords.

I have one that works on 2 C batteries that is excellent.It is small enough to fit in my hand.

I bring a 5 inch electric desk fan with extension cord (no surge suppressor). A battery operated fan will not last for 7 nights, on all night long, and that's what I must have, due to major hot flashes while I'm sleeping. A "hand held" would mean waking up fully and that's a big NO!

 

Yes...bring it along!
