Barcelona?

We have been in Barcelona several times and except for Sagrada Familia which we would like to see it's progress,we have all the Gaudi sites( park,buildings),we are looking for some suggestions for a few days before our cruise of what in your opinion are some fun and interesting things in Barcelona

One time we did an all day tour that to Montserrat. I don't remember where we stopped for lunch -- but the paella.

Take each of the Hop On- Hop off buses.

 

Visit the central market.

 

Sit at a sidewalk table on Las Ramblas and people watch.

We've been there several times and have also seen many of the sites. I suggest taking a tour to see Montserrat (as mentioned by a previous poster), and/or taking a tapas tour. We used Spain Day Tours for our Montserrat experience, and Devour Barcelona for the tapas tour. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed both. We also used Spain Day Tours for a private one day tour to Figures to see the Salvador Dali museum - another great experience.

 

We're returning to Barcelona this fall and are making a return visit to Montserrat (our 3rd time), and will enjoy the ambiance that makes up Las Ramblas in the evenings.
