Grimmalicious Posted March 29, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2018 And I have, oh, maybe a million questions! Not my first time cruising - sailed on Independence of the Seas from Fort Lauderdale in 2015 (Western Caribbean - awesome trip!), but this is my first cruise from home (Australia). Apart from issues with the "new" website, I'm curious why there's no shore excursions showing for Isle of Pines, New Caledonia? Am I just looking too early? Clarea Posted March 29, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2018 Yes, my guess is you're a year out and it's too early.

Chiliburn Posted March 30, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 30, 2018 You’re probably a bit early but there’s not a lot to do in Noumea and isle of Pines as excursions go. Hit the beach ,isle pines.Noumea catch the local bus to a few sites.
papaflamingo Posted March 30, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 30, 2018 Check out the "Pacific Islands (all)" section in the "Ports of Call" here on Cruise Critic. Lot's of good information there.

Gimmalicious ~~~~~~~~~~ Independence of the Seas June 2015 - Western Caribbean Explorer of the Seas March 2019 - South Pacific We sailed a similar itinerary back in 2012 from Sydney. Compared to other cruises, we didn't find a lot of shore excursions for our sailing. There were more options for New Caledonia, but tours for Isle of Pines were limited.
