diane.in.ny Posted April 10, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Your best bet for information is posting on the Australia/New Zealand POC section. Lots of hotel discussions there.

Nymetsfan6 Posted April 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Stayed at Four Seasons last February prior to Sydney to Auckland cruise. Rooms and service were excellent as expected and was easy walk down to ship. Easy short walk to the Opera House and all the shops / restaurants on the Rocks. Steven_&_Daniel Posted April 10, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 10, 2018 The location looks pretty good. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Old Sydney which is one block away from the ship. Walked there since we only had one bag each, so that was fast and easy. I'd love to go back to Sydney, but that flight is torture!
Kartgv Posted April 10, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Check TripAdvisor - they'll have many current reviews for both hotels and you can compare pluses & minuses.

Merc85 Posted April 10, 2018 #10 Share Posted April 10, 2018 We've been in Sydney twice and both times we stayed at the Four Seasons. It's in an excellent location and we found the service there to be very good. I would recommend it.

Rare Keith1010 Posted April 13, 2018 #12 Share Posted April 13, 2018 Four Seasons is a more upscale hotel. This comes down to your budget. If budget is not an issue I would do the Four Seasons. As an alternative we just stayed at the Shangri La Hotel in Sydney in February and loved it. Keith
