San Juan.

Go to the "SuperMax" store on the Plaza de Armas in OSJ (201 Calle De La Cruz,).

WAY less expensive than the liquor stores near the port and only a 10 min walk at max. Amber Cove and Grand Turk you are stuck buying from the store run by Carnival in the port complex and will pay accordingly.

Why are you stuck buying from the store run by Carnival at the port in Grand Turk? Why can't you buy it at Cee's or the other alcohol store there? I've never bought it in GT but don't know why you'd be stuck only buying it at port.

In San Juan. There are supermarkets in the old city (more where residents buy groceries than where tourists go) and liquor is priced considerably cheaper than at liquor stores near the port. If you’re purchasing rum, get Don Q, not Bacardi. Don Q is the Puertorican rum that locals prefer. Bacardi is considered garbage by many even though that’s the one that has more name recognition in the mainland.
