Hubby and I are on the Seaside ( docked in cozumel) today.

I'm not one who does long reviews or posts pics so this won't be lengthy.

Everything I have read about the Yacht Club is true and thensome...

First, I will say the ship is spectacular. Of course it is new, but the decor, the design, the crystal staircases..etc., They certainly spared no expense (imho).

Now..the Yacht Club...service has been outstanding..the butlers cannot do enough. Roy is especially attentive. All we have to do is look up and he's there asking what he can do for us.

The restaurant service is equally as good. We have had Alessandra and she's been wonderful. We have also had Arthur who everyone has raved about and I can understand why as he is a hoot!!

The food we find for the most part is very good, but as we all know it is subjective. The pizza is really good!

We did explore the ship and found that all the areas are really nice.

We went to eat at the marketplace buffet one morning because we slept in and it was the only eatery open at the time. We thought it was good and well designed.

We have been to the shows and they were excellent! The singers are extremely taented.

We are casino rats and spend a lot of time there. The dealers are wonderful and friendly. ( No we are not winning but not losing).

I will say that we will definitely be coming back on this ship in the very near future and being spoiled now..it will be the Yacht Club!

😀😀

Just a question about the casino. What type of table games they have? Any Pai Gow or Baccarat tables. Any heads up poker or Mississippi poker tables? Is there a players club and how do they work with future comps? Any and all info would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I was on Seaside 2 weeks ago.... Casino is pretty sedate. On our cruise....the only night it was crowded was the last night. I only saw 3 card poker in addition to BJ games. Had Roulette tables...but no craps. Only 6 Video Poker slots.

They have 2 Ultimate hold-em tables, 1 three card poker, 2 live roulette tables with the minimum being only $1 and several blackjack tables. The table minimum is $10 except on sea days from 11-1 PM they are $5. The dealers are really nice. They DO NOT hand deal..they have the machines whereas on Carnival, they do not.

Their "players club" is just use of your cruise card. What I was told is if you accumulate at least 1200 points you get 30% off your next booking. My husband and I both received such offers including $150 on board credit and it must be used within the next 9 months.

Overall we really enjoyed this cruise and look forward to booking our next one on this ship.

Questions...if your in the YC...

Do you have to pay for drinks outside the YC?

Is Internet included or additional?

Please tell us more about your experience...

You do not pay for drinks anywhere on the ship. It is all included with the Yacht Club.

The internet was an additional charge but we purchased it before the cruise for the 20% discount. We took the premium package and it was the best Internet we have ever had on a ship. The only drawback was we had to sign back on all the time. This package was the 6000MB and we still had some left over at the end of the cruise (7days).

We had a fantastic time and are looking into booking again in July.
